This notice applies only if you connect Apple Health to a habit you're tracking.
What we collect: When you link a habit to an Apple Health signal (such as steps) and open the Habits screen or refresh it, we read that day's data from Apple Health and send it to our servers.
Where it goes: This data is stored to power your household's shared habit dashboard, including on shared devices like an Apple TV. Shared devices display only a simplified indicator, not the exact figure.
What we don't do:
Retention: This data is retained as part of your account until your account is deleted, at which point it is removed within 30 days (90 days for a child's account, consistent with children's privacy requirements). Disconnecting an individual habit stops future syncing but does not remove its past history — full deletion happens when the account itself is deleted.
Your control: This feature is off by default and only activates when you link a specific habit to Apple Health. You can disconnect it at any time.
Email us at info@thefamsync.com — we respond to every message.
